On March 21st, my Deutsche Telekom Israel colleague Chiara Meurer and I had the honor to attend the Europedays 2023 in Tel Aviv - an event that connected over 70 (!) European #investors, #multinationals, and Israeli #startups aiming to grow business opportunities in Western Europe.
Israel's reputation as the #startupnation is a reflection of its entrepreneurial spirit, innovative culture, and relentless pursuit of new possibilities.
My summary of this inspiring event:
🌏 All in all, more than 250 participants from various corporates, entrepreneurs, investors, and innovators from the DACH region and Israel attended the conference. In my eyes, it provided an excellent platform for sharing ideas, insights, and experiences.
💡I was particularly impressed by the reverse pitches of various corporations and the panel discussion featuring Dikla Wagner, Klaus Driever, Kristina Becker, and Michael Mallach which highlighted possible pathways and success factors for startups collaborating with EU corporates.
🙌 I am grateful to everyone involved for the valuable conversations and round table discussions, for instance about #ehealth, and am excited to continue building on the connections made at this event, both within the dynamic Israeli #ecosystem and with leading innovation teams in the DACH region.
🤗 My personal highlight: as someone originally coming from #Cologne, I was delighted to see the amount of Cologne and NRW-based innovation-oriented corporates, institutions, and accelerators like NRW.Global Business, digihub - Digital Innovation Hub Düsseldorf/Rheinland GmbH, REWE digital and KölnBusiness Wirtschaftsförderung and more.
